Surface preparation:
Prepare new hard concrete (minimum 28days), hardened, or mildly dusty
(laitance)
floors with Comfoot Etching Fluid. Oily areas should be treated
with Comfoot Degreaser. Information sheets describing these
materials are available.
Application procedure: Thoroughly
mix the two liquid components of the COMFOOT SUREFOOT pack.
We recommend the use of a slow speed drill and stirrer attachment
(available from Comfoot Flooring if required). Spatulas or other square edged
implements area acceptable if used diligently. Apply by roller. The
second coat should be applied when the coat has cured (usually
overnight).
Curing: Within 24hrs at
normal temperature.
Cleaning: Brush or
scrubbing machine fitted with light bristle heads.
Note: Store in reasonably
warm areas. Use COMFOOT HB EPOXY RESIN SEALER with COMFOOT grit for fire
escapes, ramps, and other areas where aggressive slip resistance is
required.
